Stop the Blame Game
When you live in a state of blame, you nurture the feeling that you’re a victim in your life. This takes your inner strength and power out of the situation, causing you to not feel you can change your circumstances.
Shake Off Negative Thoughts
If you complain a lot in your day, you’re feeling like a victim again. You’re also preventing yourself from seeing positivity around you, which is more empowering. Positive thoughts are tied to strength because love is a more powerful force than fear or negativity.
Don’t Limit Yourself To Your Personality
Author T. Harv Eker puts it well: “Your personality is nothing more than an egoic idea you made up as to who you’re supposed to be to survive in the world.”

Return To The Present

From an egoic perspective, you can make yourself feel more confident, such as by telling yourself you’re attractive/intelligent/successful, but this is superficial confidence.
As spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle explains, self-confidence that’s better for you is the one that has direct access to your inner power. You don’t have to compare yourself to others and you can gain it immediately.
